My journey with yoga starts with giving bodywork. Having the experience of injuring myself in my work over time, I had to learn to heal myself. I learned to care for my own body through breath, meditation, and movement. I find that giving myself the space and studying the right tools, my body restores to its natural state of health and well-being.
I have been studying yoga for 10 years with many teachers throughout the Bay Area. I am a regular retreatant with Pete Guinosso at his summer retreats to Joshua Tree and Lassen National Parks. There you will see me giving the morning meditations and/or giving massage. I received my 200 RYT at College of San Mateo in 2013.
I have learned to listen my own body and follow accordingly, asking questions along the way to find out what I can do to support myself. I use this same process in working with others. I am a strong believer in the power of relaxation to truly connect with ones inner guidance. Learning to breathe, listen, and relax can transform our bodies and our lives. With my bodywork and meditation background I now naturally offer restorative yoga classes, meditation classes, and meditation workshops.
